The young golfer can count on numerous high-profile backers when she makes her professional golf debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, received a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses multiple golf courses and often competes against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she mentioned.

Kai explained that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He practically told me to compete and relax," she explained.

"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He's not attending this weekend. He's busy with running the country, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He represents the greatest golfer globally," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive human being. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, adapting to whatever happens."

She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in professional golf at the competition, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that her participation exposes golf to different demographics, especially among youth audiences.

The social media influencer maintains a massive following and recently launched her own fashion and living company.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
