Arsenal's 10-game winning streak came to an end by the Black Cats before the international break, however will the English top division frontrunners recover against local foes Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," stated soccer expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still manage to win."
Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, against AI, fans and a range of special visitors.
In week 12, he faces singer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.
Murs' new album, Knees Up, is available on the weekend.
Olly is a skilled footballer as well as a accomplished singer and has been a star of multiple Soccer Aid games down the years - but he is not planning a professional return as a player.
"{I recently played in a benefit match the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "My side was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I still love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it properly again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my child or boy chooses to play instead."
The singer and his spouse his partner have two children, their daughter and Albert, and he is ready to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their coach.
"I will not force football on our children but I've previously told my wife that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be managing their weekend football team," he added.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a while too.
"My dad did it with us when I was a child, which is probably where I inherited it. He managed our side for two or three seasons and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
The Blues might have to wait a bit longer for their star's return from injury but their offense is already more potent with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this fixture will be quite close, though. Burnley are disciplined and their only at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal.
This smells of a 1-1 draw to me, but I am actually going to choose Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.
The expert's prediction: 1-2
The singer's prediction: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
The Cherries have lost their previous couple games - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which shocked me.
On the other hand, West Ham secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those games were at home, they do look competitive again.
West Ham's only away victory this season came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when their manager Nuno Espirito Santo was still that team's manager.
So, what on earth do I go with here - can the Hammers continuing their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I am going to choose Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Aston Villa was a blip.
Sutton's prediction: 2-0
Olly's outlook: The home team are doing well but West Ham have picked up under their boss. 2-2
AI's prediction: 1-1
The Bees were considered one of the frontrunners for relegation before the season started, but they have impressed a several people under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three wins in their last four matches.
A family member advised me to select Bees forward Igor Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks ago and, guess what, I didn't listen.
Thiago will probably find the net again on Saturday but I am still not going to pick him or back Brentford at Brighton's ground.
The Bees have not had great success on the travel this term, and Brighton are consistently strong at home. The visitors will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's side carry much more of a danger.
Sutton's forecast: 2-1
Olly's view: This could be a match where you expect there is going to be a lot of scores but it actually turns out to be quite close. 1-1
AI's outcome: 2-1
This is a massive game for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six games.
They have got plenty of talent in their squad but it still seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone battle.
As for Sunderland, well they are the surprise package of the top flight campaign so far.
The away side's performance in the 2-2 draw with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We've not seen anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this term, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The logical choice to do to support the visitors here, because they are obviously capable of roughing the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they defeated Chelsea at the close of last month.
But I am not going to do that. Rather, I truly need to continue going against Sunderland with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of credit for their good outcomes because they evidently enjoy to defy my predictions.
Looking at the home side's home record, the sole team they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Marco Silva's team will be extremely desperate for a good result, so I am going to predict they will secure three points.
The expert's prediction: 1-0
The guest's prediction: I know Sunderland are doing well and also that Fulham are on a poor streak... but Fulham have nonetheless been decent at home this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's outlook: 2-0
It is a hard fixture to predict. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 games in all competitions, but might they be one of the teams who profit from the {international break|
