An aircraft carrying Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an emergency landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday after a crack was discovered in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an official announcement which stated that Hegseth was safe.
"The plane touched down based on standard procedures and everyone onboard, including Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative stated in a online announcement.
Hegseth was returning from a brief trip to the Belgian capital at the time.
